Headquartered in Silicon Valley, Readybot is a team of senior engineers and designers from the networking, motion control, ergonomics, and software industries, working on a single goal: to create an easy-to-use, modular, off-the-shelf, robotic work platform.
Status
The basic hardware platform is prototyped and has been operational for the past year. The Collaborative Cloud software is prototyped in “Alpha” form.
Next Steps
The Readybot system was designed to be inexpensive and easy to duplicate, in order to encourage the fast spread of mobile robotics technology for maximum positive impact on society. Further, the collaborative control process should be tested and extended to the largest number of robots possible, in real-life work environments. Therefore, we are actively developing an initiative to spread this technology, and the concept of low-cost next-generation robotics. Potential partners and sponsors are welcome.
